Music is exciting, inspiring and personal, it’s all about you.

In 2004, Rock This Way! Founder Ross Munro set out to change the way we learn to play music. He tossed out the old outdated concepts, and threw away the 50 year old music books that were sucking the life out of music students everywhere. He replaced them with a fresh approach that treated music as an “art” not a “science”. Sorry, no classical music here…and you won’t hear “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” in the studio lobby. Students were encouraged to learn music they actually liked…music that inspired them! Music lessons that ROCK!

And guess what? It worked. Students were excited…and they began to love playing music again. Before long everyone in Oakville was talking about “Music Lessons That Rock!”, and the cool little boutique studio on Speers Rd that started out as the best kept secret in town, was bursting at the seams. Rock This Way! studios in Burlington was soon to follow. With the opening of our brand new studios in Vaughan (Woodbridge) and Thornhill (Concord), Rock This Way! brings its trademark cool music lessons, band programs and rock band camps to yet another fine city.

And yes, you will find impersonators. The big box music stores and traditional RCM learning centres have recently scrambled to add “rock” elements to their program offerings. And yes, we are flattered. But only Rock This Way! is the real thing. (And we thank our clients for being able to tell the difference!)
